Mirroring sd7/7d7

Introduction

At current time, we can only host and publicy allow access to the source code of the 7d7 project. Unfortunately we do not have enough available resources to host binary releases/packages of the engine. If you think that you can help to the project by providing free mirroring services, please read ahead.

Mirroring Official Packages

We are looking servers with enough bandwidth to host binary packages between 50 and 200 MBytes. Instead of polling our build server for new builds, we are looking a based solution that allows our build server to pull up the packages to the mirror server when them are available. These are official packages generated by our build server, and the ones that will be referenced by the automated installer. If you think that you can provide this service, please contact with the engine lead developer either by our forum software or by one of the publicy available addresses posted on his personal blog.

Mirroring a Build server

You can easily assemble a server that builds and hosts the packages in a daily basis. You only need to add an entry to your server crontab in a way that runs the full clean and build script and creates a package. Please read Build to know how to do that.
